Touring accessories that you absolutely need!

1. Tool kit:

A toolkit is the most essential accessory that you need to carry when you travel on your motorcycle. Let's say for instance, when you are travelling, your motorcycle's windshield loosens up and starts making a weird noise. What are you going to do then? Some might say it's dumb, but I have experienced this on my motorcycle when I was travelling. This is when my toolkit was useful. If not the windshield, there are many other screws which could loosen up when you are travelling. So, the first and the most essential accessory you need to buy is a toolkit.

2. Electric Tyre Inflators:

The next accessory that you need are Tyre inflators. This device will help you pump air into your tyres. When you have flat tyres, even if you use a puncture kit to fix it, your tyre needs air to move. This device is charged just like your mobile phone and it electrically starts pumping air into your tyres. So, this device is the second most important accessory that you can invest on.
Other advantages:
-This device can also be used as a power bank to charge your mobile phones and GoPro batteries.
-This tyre inflator can be used with both cars and bikes. So, it is not a waste of money after all.

3. Chain Lube Spray:

After riding 500kms+ on your motorcycle, the chain starts drying up. It starts making a squeaky noise while riding. This sound might not be audible due to the wind noise, but can be heard when you are riding slowly. This will damage the chain as well as the chain sprocket. To avoid this, we must lubricate the chain after a certain amount of distance. Especially when we are travelling, we should lubricate the chain after every 500kms.
Recommended usage:
-It is recommended to lubricate the chain after every 500kms and clean the chain after every 1000kms. Chain cleaning spray can be used to clean the chain.
-Care must be taken while using the Chain lube. Chain lubes have flammable chemicals in them. The chain must be cool while using chain sprays.

4. Hydration Pack:

The next accessory we can buy is the hydration pack. Whenever we are riding in broad daylight, especially during summer, the sun sucks up all the water from our body. Riders end up taking breaks after every 50-60kms for 15-20mins. We remove our gloves, our helmet, drink water and put it all back. Using a hydration pack can save a lot of time and we can travel faster. The hydration pack sits on our back like a back pack and a pipe goes straight into our helmets whenever we want to drink water.

5. Intercom:

Intercom stands for Inter Communication system. Intercoms consists of a control device, a pair of headsets and a microphone. The control device is glued to the side of the helmets and the speakers & the microphone are placed inside the helmet using the stickers that comes with them.
-The main purpose of this intercom is to establish communication between riders in regions with low network or no network.
-Also, they can be connected to mobile phones in order to answer calls while riding and to listen to music.
